Mountaineering

I am an avid mountaineer pursuing the Bulgers List, Washington State’s top 100 peaks. So far, I’ve bagged 80 of these magnificent summits, which means I’m well over halfway to earning serious bragging rights in Pacific Northwest climbing circles.

Ski Mountaineering

Why climb a mountain once when you can ski down it afterward? I’ve combined my love for skiing with mountaineering, successfully pointing my skis downhill from summits including Mount Adams, Mount Baker, Glacier Peak, Mount Saint Helens, Mount Hood, Mount Shasta, Lassen Peak, and Mount Bachelor. Other notable ski descents include Whitehorse Mountain, Vesper Peak, and Granite Mountain. Because sometimes the best views come with a side of adrenaline.

Turns All Year

When most sensible people hang up their ski gear for the season, I’m still out there hunting for snow patches. I’ve achieved “Turns All Year” for 103 consecutive months, proving either remarkable dedication or questionable judgment. I’ll let you decide. This ongoing quest for year-round skiing continues alongside my Bulgers List adventure, ensuring I’m never far from the next alpine challenge.
